Unhappy Digestion
Digestive system function and digestive health
It is said, “you are what you eat”. Dr. Porter takes it a step further saying, “you are what you digest and assimilate.”
What you eat, and what your digestion assimilates, are supremely important to your health and well-being. All that you eat is the major chemical input that your body uses to build and sustain itself and maintain optimum health.
Your daily diet and how your body processes all you intake is more important than any other chemical input that you have. And supremely important is the fact that your body is designed to support, sustain, and manage itself completely chemically based upon your personal food and liquid intake.
The Blood Type Diet
What you eat is critical. In our studies and experience, we observed that there is a very distinct relationship between your blood type and the types of food that are compatible with that blood type. If you don’t know your blood type, you can learn it by reviewing past blood donation paperwork or with a handy test kit found on Amazon. After learning your blood type, we recommend that patients select their food choices based upon their blood type and that blood types most essential beneficial foods. At Porter Wellness, we employee the blood type diet practices of Dr. D’Adamo. We encourage you to read his book, Eat Right 4 Your Type and have provided a quick start guide of the foods to add and eliminate based on your blood type.
Causes of Digestive Issues
Digestive issues are primarily related to the types of foods you eat and the ways you eat them. Secondarily, disturbances of the digestive system and chemistry uptake in the digestive system can be altered by infectious disease, poisoning, environmental toxins, parasites, emotional stress, and a list of other upsets.
Also, the concept of three meals a day is not for everybody. But there are specific meal consumptions and times for keeping the stomach empty that can support a healthier process in the digestive and assimilation systems.
Muscle Testing for Digestive Issues
Muscle response testing has proven to be a very useful and successful tool for assessing and managing digestive disturbances. Through muscle testing, we are able to successfully diagnose and manage disturbances such as:
- Leaky gut
- Parasites
- Infection
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Food allergies
- Food intolerance
- Dehydration and hypochlorhydria
- Digestive enzyme deficiency
- Flora problems
- Gallbladder disturbance
- Stress and anxiety
Success in these analyses and treatments is due to our ability to apply natural energetic muscle testing methods of analysis and treatment. As well, we test and utilize the most highly qualified nutritional substances such as vitamins and nutrition remedies which are energetically superior and compatible to the body’s wants and needs.
