How You Look is a Reflection of Your Inner Health
Who doesn’t love hearing that? It means your self-care, which includes good diet, exercise, rest and vitamins, is paying off, giving you a youthful appearance. Ah, life is good.
Unfortunately, sometimes we hear instead, “you look tired.” Lack of sleep or exercise and poor diet can lead to you feeling run-down and low energy, and it shows in your aging appearance. I added this in. This is totally optional and can be taken out, but it shows the opposite problem.
But no matter how you feel and look today, you can usually make it better.
How you look is a reflection of your inner health. Your vibration of vitality, and the glow of health and youth, or lack of it, is a direct outcome of your lifestyle.
I am amazed at the truth that our inner energy is the cause of our outer beauty. It truly illustrates the principle that beauty is more than skin deep. Beauty, or energy, permeates our whole being, a reflection of our efforts to be chemically healthy, structurally sound, and balanced in life. Or, more simply, eat right, keep fit, rest and play a little.
But beware. Some folks are unpleasantly surprised to find out they aren’t so healthy. High blood pressure, blood fats, and blood sugar commonly come as a surprise. These are as insidious as cancer or any other disease.
So, what can you do?
